On Tuesday morning, hearts were heard breaking all over the world as the news that Prince Wiliam proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton. William proposed to Kate while the couple was vacationing in Kenya in mid-October, and Kate is now wearing the stunning 18 carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring that once belonged to Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana. The wedding is expected to take place at Westminster Abbey in the Spring or Summer of 2011, the same year that would have been Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ 30th wedding anniversary.
